RockCar Starter Clay Bar Kit – Light Grade

Overview

This starter decontamination kit pairs a 100 g light-grade RockCar clay bar with dedicated lubricant and a soft microfibre cloth. It is intended for beginners and lightly contaminated paint. Clay removes bonded contamination such as fallout, brake dust, tree sap and road grime that remains after washing.

Kit contents

• 1 × RockCar professional light-grade clay bar, 100 g
• 1 × Autostolz Quick Detailer & Clay Lubricant, 500 ml
• 1 × RockCar Pegasus microfibre cloth, 480 gsm

How to use

1. Wash and dry the vehicle, then work in the shade on cool paint.
2. Tear off a manageable piece of clay and keep the unused portion sealed. Spray the panel and clay generously with lubricant.
3. Glide the clay lightly over a small area without pressing hard. Fold it often to expose a clean face and wipe the panel with the supplied cloth.
4. Discard clay immediately if it is dropped. Inspect the finish after claying, then apply wax, sealant or coating as required.

Care and safety

Its lower marring risk makes it the most forgiving grade, although any clay can mark paint if used without enough lubricant. Do not use clay dry, and test an inconspicuous area before treating the full vehicle.
