Autostolz Pad & Polish Kit – Hard Paint

Overview

This machine-polishing kit matches four working pads and polish to hard paint. Rotating through four pads—approximately one pad per quarter of a vehicle—limits heat and polish build-up so each pad can work consistently.

Pad use and care

1. Inspect paint and perform a small test section before selecting speed, pad and polish. Use the least aggressive combination that achieves the required correction.
2. Change to a cool pad after roughly one quarter of the vehicle rather than overheating one pad.
3. Clean pads the same day. Dilute 50 ml pad cleaner with water to make 500 ml, spray the pad, scrub it with the supplied brush, then rinse and squeeze until polish residue is removed.
4. Dry pads standing on edge or with the hook-and-loop face upwards so water can drain. Never machine-polish hot paint or continue with a damaged or contaminated pad.
