Overview
Autostolz Brake Dust & Iron Remover is supplied in a 500 ml pack. It is a iron fallout remover for dissolving embedded ferrous particles and brake dust; the colour-change reaction indicates iron contamination.
Application notes
A purple or red reaction shows that ferrous contamination is being dissolved; little or no colour change can indicate that little iron is present. General road dirt and oily grime may still require a separate wheel cleaner. Iron-removal treatment is periodic decontamination rather than a necessary step at every wash.
Directions
Shake well and work on one cool wheel or section at a time out of direct sun. Spray evenly, allow the colour reaction to occur, agitate if necessary and rinse thoroughly before the product dries. Repeat until no further reaction is visible if required.
Care and safety
This is an iron remover, not a general wheel cleaner. Never let it dry. Test first, keep surfaces below 30°C, rinse surrounding areas and the ground, and do not freeze.
